A huge thanks you to those members who attended the Blaze Aid 7.30am Kinglake Training Ride working bee held 28/06/09. The fence demolition work we undertook was at Coombs Rd, Kinglake West. You may recall that during the bushfires, Coombs Rd was a disastrous bottle neck with a dead-end accessible only by 4 wheel drive.

This week, Brunswick CC’s Tuesday night track racing will include the Rapido sponsored motorpace races. There will be an additional $50 prize money for the open C and D grade motorpaced scratch races. Other grades will be run as usual - with all riders getting three races on the night. Juniors start at 6:30pm, seniors 7:30pm.
Tuesday night track racing continues all through winter, every Tuesday night. Keep your eye on the BCC website for other sponsored races coming up later in the month.

6 Month licenses are now available to all new and renewing members. The licenses are valid until 31st December 2009. For information on fees or to renew/apply online, check the CSV Web Site.

The club committee is in the process of developing a new uniform, in response to the member survey conducted over summer. We have some initial design ideas and are calling for suggestions from membership. A final design will be voted on at the club annual general meeting in October. Following are some initial design ideas:
We will be narrowing the options down based on feedback from members. All ideas and opinions welcome, please forward them through to social@brunswickcyclingclub.com, or have a look at some test prints on a Tuesday night at DISC.

Saturday 27th June there is no combine racing, however, Brunswick will be racing with the Macedon Ranges cycling Club from the Kyneton Saleyards. Start time is 1pm. All junior and senior members are welcome. Please register with Alan Sandford by Wednesday evening. For more information, please check with Alf Tuesday night.
