Brunswick Cycling Club is a volunteer-run club which aims to promote all levels of competitive road and track cycling amongst all ages and abilities in the local community. Our 250+ membership comprises juniors, Under 18s, elite riders, women and masters, as well as families and social members. Brunswick Cycling Club strongly supports an inclusive, safe and educational riding environment for all of its members.

Track World Cup Raffle

Win a double season pass to the UCI Track World Cup in November. This season pass includes 2 premium reserved (upper bowl) passes to each of the 6 sessions, a total value of $200.00.

A strictly limited number of raffle tickets are available at $2 each. The winner will be drawn on Tuesday 14th October during Tuesday Track racing at DISC.

Walker, Docker and O’Donnell to represent Australia

Brunswick’s Will Walker has been added to the Cyclones line up for the elite men’s road race at the World Championships. He becomes the third Brunswick member selected to represent Australia for the World Championships, being held in Varese, Italy from Sep. 23rd to Sep. 28th.

Brunswick wishes to congratulate club members Will Walker, Mitch Docker and Bridie O’Donnell on their selection into the Australian team. We will be thinking of you. Good Luck!

Roller Derby #8

Join us at the Harrison St. Clubrooms on Friday 26th for a night of roller racing. All cyclists and all bikes welcome. Food and drinks available for a small donation.

$10 to race, spectators free. Registration and qualifying from 6pm, racing from 7pm. Geared bikes welcome as long as you use the same gear all night, and it is less than 96″.

Warning: Mini bike skills may be required.

2008 AGM

The Brunswick Cycling Club annual general meeting will be held Monday 6th October at the Harrison St. clubrooms from 7pm. All members are encouraged to attend this meeting to decide our committee for the next year.

Nominations for committee positions should be forwarded to Sheryl as soon as possible.

Snacks and drinks from 7pm, the meeting is scheduled to open at 8pm.
