Brunswick Cycling Club is a volunteer-run club which aims to promote all levels of competitive road and track cycling amongst all ages and abilities in the local community. Our 250+ membership comprises juniors, Under 18s, elite riders, women and masters, as well as families and social members. Brunswick Cycling Club strongly supports an inclusive, safe and educational riding environment for all of its members.
Brunswick’s regular Tuesday night racing was visited this week by some out-of-towners who jumped in and seriously mixed up the A and B grades.

Well the Brunswick Sunday Clinic is off and running for the 08/09 season.
Perfect conditions were on hand as were more than 45 eager kids and their parents.
This week, we kick track season off with some fun events - pen them into your diary and don’t miss out:
Track racing will be held as usual this Tuesday night (cup day). Juniors start 6:30pm, seniors from7pm. Warmup on track from 5pm
Laurence Noonan, one of the club’s most senior commissaires, will be running an information night on the rules of track racing - Friday the 7th of November at the Harrison st. clubrooms. The night will be run as an open forum covering the rules for sprint, TT, and scratch races.
This Saturday November 8th join us at the Brunswick outdoor velodrome for an informal evening of endurance track racing. Registration and warm-up from 6pm, racing starts 7pm. More info ».
The Brunswick Sunday Junior Clinic starts this Sunday November 9th at 8:30am. Any senior riders not otherwise engaged are very welcome to come along and lend a hand.
This week’s Pancake ride (Friday 31st October) will not be taking place - unfortunately the ride’s leaders will all be on their way to places that are not close to Harrison St. Brunswick
The ride will be back on next Friday - come along for an easy social ride and the best pancakes in Melbourne.
Online license renewals for 2009 are now available via the Cycling Australia web site. 2009 license fees for Brunswick members are listed on the membership page.
The BCC Sunday Track Skills session will be going ahead as usual this Sunday (2nd November), starting at 08:00.
Coburg Cycling Club will be running a seven-week criterium series, Saturdays from November 8th until December 20th at the National Boulevard circuit.

Ballarat Sebastopol Cycling Club have extended an invitation to Brunswick riders to participate in their Creswick Criterium races this Sunday 26th October.
