Comments

It was cool with no rain and a light SW wind. Temperature was 13 degrees. The 8 minute bunch showed how rolling turns should be done, and in doing so caught and passed everyone. The unluckiest rider was “Chris Hitchen” (limit) who was caught 300 metres before the finish. Nathan Elliott won very convincingly by finishing two bike lengths clear of Sam Lilley and Peter Window (first Northcote rider) took third. No fines or warnings were imposed. With 22 plus in the finish, excellent bike handling was shown by all. No riders went over the middle of the road and no protests were tabled after the finish.
