Mitch Docker competes in Paris-Roubaix Classic

On Sunday 12 April 2009, Brunswick CC’s Mitch Docker started, along with nearly 200 other European pro-tour riders, in the 2009 Paris-Roubaix.

Mitch, recently recruited from Drapac Porsche Cycling team, is now a member of the Skil-Shimano (SKS) team.

After missing the breakaway at 42km, Mitch and his team rode near the front of the main peloton.

By the 200km mark of the 250km race, one of the hardest one day races in the world; and after having completed a number of other gruelling events within the past week, Mitch decided he had had enough for the day and joined a list of 68 others withdrawals.

Well done Mitch. We here at Brunswick CC wish you the best of luck and are behind you all the way.
