Brunswick Cycling Club

This year, the Brunswick club track championships will be held over three sessions starting from Tuesday 16th February. The club champion in each age category will be awarded to the rider who performs best in the three races: Time trial, sprint and scratch. Tuesday regulars from other clubs will not be eligible for club championship places, but are invited to ride a time trial and will have a separate “out of towner’s” scratch race. There will be some disruptions to Tuesday track racing, so please check the program below before each event.

Session 1: Time Trial

Tuesday 16th @ DISC from 5pm

On Tuesday 16th February, all riders at Tuesday track racing will ride an individual time trial. Regulars from other clubs may ride for a time. Please note: Due to time constraints, riders may only get two rides for the night.

Session 2: Sprint

Saturday 20th @ Harrison st Velodrome. Juniors: 1pm, Seniors: 6pm

The sprint session will be held at the outdoor velodrome on Saturday 20th, in conjunction with the Evening Enduro. Please note: Juniors will be run from 1pm. Seniors will be run from 6pm, and enduro races will be held between sprint rounds in the senior program. Riders from other clubs may ride for a 200m time, but they are not eligible for sprint rounds. All riders will be able to ride enduro events on the night, even (or especially?) after elimination from the sprint. Please check the Enduro program (TBA) for more details.

Session 3: Scratch

Tuesday 23rd @ DISC from 5pm

Scratch races for each age category will be held as one of each rider’s three races. Riders from other clubs will ride an out-of-towner’s race.
