Shaun O’Callaghan scored gold at Australian Track Championships when he teamed with Harry Crothers-Bade, Oliver LeGrice and Brent Nelson to win the M19 teams pursuit.

Their qualifying time of 4.18.400 would have earned them a spot in the open mens bronze medal ride off.

The quartet also recieved the WJ “Bill” Young Trophy which is awarded to the winning M19 team, Bill Young was Australian Secretary for many years around the time when Norm Gailley was Presedent. Both have Perpetual Trophies awarded in ther names at National Championships.

Maddison Hammond who joins our Tuesday night racing quite often claimed his second M19 national Sprint Title last night, he defeated #1 seed and provisional Australian record holder Matthew Glaetzer in straight heats.
