Vic Club Teams Road Time Trial Championships – Calling for Teams

The 2012 Vic Teams Road Team Time Trial Championships is not far away.

This year’s event will be held at Buninyong near Ballarat on Sunday 22 July 2012.

With the recent success of Brunswick riders in the Calder Park and Phillip Island team road races, this should be a great year for the club in the Vic Club Teams Road TT Championships.

If you wish to nominate a team or as an individual, please check the CV website for team requirements then email Phil Bushell.

Please register ASAP. Nominations received after Friday 29 June 2012 may not be considered.
Where possible, all riders are encouraged to get together with other riders to create teams. Prior to nominating a team, please make sure that all riders are available and that all riders’ details are included on the nomination email.

Riders that nominate individually will be placed in a team* with other riders in the same category that are of similar ability.

*Where possible, ALL RIDERS that nominate will be placed in a team. Due to maximum and minimum team numbers it may not be possible for every nominating rider to be placed in a team but we will certainly try our hardest to include everyone who wants to ride. Preference will be given to rider nominated teams however the selection committee reserves the right to select the final composition of the teams.

Don’t worry if you haven’t ridden a Road Team TT before. A number of RTTT training days will be arranged prior to the event. Keep your eye on the Brunswick CC website for details.

Entry costs will be covered by the club.

The course is an “out and back” on the Buninyong – Mt Mercer Road.
