Saturday October 20

Racing Start Times Change

Juniors (15′s & 17′s) Start Racing at 1pm

Open (J19-Elite-Masters) Start Racing at 6pm

Why? Because we have received feedback that the other earlier start time was difficult to make because of work commitments – warm up from 1hr before.

Gear Restrictions Change

Junior 15 & 17′s as per Cycling Australia Technical Regulations 3.6.01

Open 92.6″

Why? It’s getting closer to Summer but we want you to still have to think about your racing.

The Program

Time permitting we will deliver to both Junior and Open sessions the following events:

Motor Pace (as a warm up), Final of the BONT Wheelraces, Flying 200, 2 x 3 up 3 lap sprint derby’s, 2 x 4 lap kerins with the bike coming off at 2 to go.

(depending on entries we may increase the sprints and kerins to 3 rounds each or include the dreaded points accumulator as the final event)

Why? Because the entire series was planned to be completely different to any kind of racing you have ever done.

DON’T FORGET – DISC-O #3 IS WHERE WE PAY OUT ALL THE PRIZE MONEY + WE DRAW THE SIGNED LIMITED EDITION ANNA MEARES RAFFLE FOR THOSE THAT SUPPORTED THE BRUNSWICK NJTS TEAM!

Garage Sale

Do you have a collection of odds and ends from your years of cycling laying around the house or jammed in the garage? Is your Mum / Dad / Husband / Wife / Housemate nagging you about what you will do with it?
We in CV development WANT YOUR BIKE BITS!!! We are raising funds for new track bikes so we can continue to run a range of track based programs, and you can help by donating old bits and bobs of bicycles!
Thanks to Disco Master Cam McFarlane, we will be holding a ‘velodrome sale’ during DISCO track on the 20th October!!
We would greatly appreciate it if you would donate your bits, however if you just want to sell your stuff tables can be booked (for a small donation) to sell it from also!  More info can be obtained thru mark.drehlich@cycling.org.au or 84803077

Entries close 15 minutes before the first race so get your shizz organised.
