Brunswick will have a full compliment of 12 riders (two teams) representing it at the upcoming NJTS.  In fact, the club was oversubscribed for the Melbourne round of the series.  First up is Sydney this weekend, and nine Brunswick riders will be wearing the fashionable black, orange and white skinsuits thanks in no small part to our sponsors: Bendigo Bank, Sukkie Hydration, Brunettis and Giramondo.

Brunswick riders doing all five events include last year’s JW15 winner, Ruby Roseman Gannon.  Ruby, and a number of her team mates, will likely find it a little harder than last year having moved up to bottom age under-17.  Ruby is joined by Greta Curran and Emily Dunk in this category.  Sarah Gigante will also race all events as bottom-year JW15 rider.

In the boys, Riley Hart will be a top-age rider and has high expectations to improve on last years fourth place overall finish.  Riley is joined by top-age JM15, and recently transferred member, Liam Pino.  In the JM17’s Nick Abels steps up for his biggest test to date.  Nick is arguably to most improved under-17 rider going around, so it will be great for him to be able to test himself against the best in the nation.

Isaac Gibbs will also race all events.  We’ve all watched Isaac’s transformation at Tuesday racing to now be contesting at the pointy end of A-grade.  This will be a step-up again, but it will no doubt give Isaac a taste of what is possible.

These eight riders will do all events, joined at differing times by Nathan Bof (Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne) and Ryan Schilt, who finished third overall last year in JM15 but goes up to JM17 (Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne).  Paddy Butler and Will Maughan will join the team for the Melbourne round in February.

The kids have been selling raffle tickets to help raise additional funds for all the travel and accommodation so keep your eyes out and support this great cause.  Lisa Hocking donated a limited edition signed photo of Anna Meares Olympic Gold Medal and Sukkie has donated 10 tubs of hydration formula so its worth buying a ticket or 10!
