On Saturday 12th November Brunswick CC will be hosting a presentation night for the track racing 2010-2011 Season and road 2011 season.
During the presentation night awards/saches will be presented to to all the Club Champions in the different age groups across the different disciplines from these seasons. We also plan to highlight other achievments by fellow club members throughout the past year.
In the past we have hosted these evenings at the Harrison St club rooms but this year we thought we would do something a bit different and hold it in the function room at DISC and have catering provided.

The fog lifted in time for contestants to start on time for the 2011 Brunswick Road Championships at Lancefield.

The out and back circuit along the Pyalong road is only used for the Club Championships and anyone who has competed on the course would agree that those who greet the judges first deserve the accolades.

The Brunswick CC 2011 Road Championships for Senior and Junior riders (except J15′s) will be held on October 8th at Pyalong Rd, Lancefield. Rego will be at 10am at the bus shelter and racing from 11am.

All Junior categories will be racing on Saturday EXCEPT for the J15′s as a few of them are travelling to Sydney for the NJTS Track meet.

J15′s will have their Club Championships race the following week, Saturday October 15th and it will possibly be at Gisborne South – stay tuned for updates on this next week.

We are coming up to a very busy weekend of racing for Brunswick CC members!
Tomorrow is the first round of the National Junior Track Series (NTJS) in Sydney at the Dunc Gray Velodrome with Riley Hart, Ryan Schilt and Ruby Roseman Gannon proudly competing for Brunswick.

Saturday is the Brunswick Road Champs out at Pyalong Rd, Lancefield for all age categories except J15′s. Come out and race for the prize of being able to call yourself the Club Champion!

Sunday is the 3rd round of the Junior Crit Series and is the round that Brunswick CC are hosting out at the Melton CC crit circuit
And finally, this weekend also sees the the Australian Masters Championships being run in Ballarat!

The #JnrCrit Series launched this year with events run by Blackburn, Melton and now it’s Brunswick’s turn… Designed to give extra racing to the VSCC novice riders, as well as filling in a hole in the calendar for racing juniors, the #JnrCrit Series presented by 2XU features two races for novice riders + a nice long graded crit for racing juniors.

This Saturday the Northern Combines last race for the year will be held at National Boulevard, Campbellfield. Juniors will have registration from 9am and racing from 9:15am. Can all seniors please warm up in the opposite direction while the juniros are racing.

Junior criterium racing is on at Casey Fields this Sunday. Racing begins @ 12 noon. This is the first of a series of three Criteriums run by Blackburn, Melton and Brunswick clubs in the lead up to the VSCC criterium final. Licensed and Novice riders can race.
It would be great to see all the Brunswick Juniors out there supporting this race as Brunswick is promoting the third and deciding race. Support the series to tune up for the VSCC finals. Also good intense workout for track season. Racing will be graded so you’ll be racing against a similar group to Tuesday nights. For more info check out .
