Madison training at HSV Monday evenings/nights will re-commence as of 05/01/09. All track riders are welcome, madison training/racing is for everyone. Great skills and bike handling training as well as interval training.

Madison training runs from 7pm Monday nights at the Harrison Street Velodrome.

When: 08:00 to 11:00 Sunday 4 Jan 2009.

Where: DISC (John Cain Memorial Park) - Darebin Road (just East of Station Street) Thornbury.

On Friday 19 Dec starting at 7PM, DISC will play host to an international class of competitors for the Victorian Scratch and Keiren Championships.

The field includes Aussie rep Shane Perkins, a number of the red hot Malaysian track team including 2008 Austral silver medalist Azizul Awang, masters world champ Steven Sansonetti and a host of other class riders.

Contrary to what was published in the recent newsletter, this coming Sunday’s track skills sesion (December 21st) will be held at Harrison St Velodrome 08:00 to 11:00.

No Sunday Skills session on 28 Dec and 4 Jan, Sunday Skills will be resuming at DISC on Sunday 11th Jan 2009.

Results from Tuesday night track racing, held at DISC on Tuesday 16th December 2008. Major event for the night was the Xmas hamper handicap.

Despite the fact that it never rains in Melbourne, we will (regretfully) have to cancel tonight’s Enduro #2 - just in case it were to rain. If there’s a free weekend between now and the end of track season we may re-schedule, keep your eye on this web site for info as it arrives.

Clinic riders please note: Rain/hail/snow/wind/shine Cam will be at the HSV from 9am tomorrow. If the track is wet, all are welcome to join him for discussion, bike repairs and general training talk in the clubrooms.

The Ballarat Sebastopol Cycling Club cordially invites guest cycling clubs to: "Reach for the Stars 2009" twilight track cycling combine, on the rest day of the Australian Open Road Cycling Championships.

Friday Afternoon January 09 2008, 4.00pm – 8.30pm at the Colin Smith Velodrome, Albert St Sebastopol, Ballarat. Minimum of 4 Races per grade. Registrations from 3.00pm - junior racing from 4.00pm, seniors from 6.00pm – 8.30pm. All Entries $10, entries close Monday 5th January 09.
